Hardware Upgrades for Enthusiasts

Beyond bodywork and wheels, Mugen adds a handful of performance tweaks.Uprated brake pads and new dampers stiffen the chassis, while a tuned exhaust injects more sound into the hybrid drivetrain.These upgrades won’t transform the Prelude into a Civic Type R, but they’ll make the coupe livelier without ruining its everyday usability.

Inside, the kit is limited to details like branded mats, sill plates, and a luggage liner — small touches that extend the theme.

This isn’t new territory for Mugen.Since 1973, the company founded by Hirotoshi Honda has been creating race engines, aftermarket kits, and special editions of Honda road cars.It isn’t part of Honda officially, but its work has long been dealer-supported and embraced by enthusiasts.
